The 1/2 in. SharkBite Push-to-Connect Service Slip Tee allows you to add a line into your existing plumbing system. The service end is a copper tube size end that will connect with any 1/2 in. SharkBite fitting. Most commonly these are used as a better alternative to a saddle valve, the slip feature allows you to cut into you existing line and make a solid connect rather than tapping into the line and with many options in the SharkBite Stop valve line these stops can easily be pushed onto the service end allowing for quick shut-off. The Slip feature allows up to 2 in. of Copper or CPVC to be removed from a rigid pipe installation. Simply insert the slip coupling on to the pipe and using the SharkBite demount clip to slip the fitting back onto the other end of pipe completing the connection.
