This connector has 2 primary uses; It can be used to thread onto an existing stop valve and convert a compression connection to a push-to-connect connection that will work with 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) pipe and SharkBite Fittings, and it can be used to connect to faucets that require a 3/8 in. compression connection.
